Hardware assembly

Do you need to move your bikeTRAP to a new location? Contact us and we will guide you through the process. You will need a new set of the wall mounting hardware.

Features:

• Mount on a wall that is as sturdy and flat as possible: In general, concrete walls are best but it can also be installed on solid or hollow brick walls.
• Avoid walls with thick plaster coating as it will be easily pulverized ! Avoid curved walls !
• The included hardware kit is suitable for use on any type of wall. Optionally it can be further strengthened with 4 additional screws, or by replacing them with metal anchors in the case of solid walls, or with chemical anchors suitable for the type of wall.
• Avoid looseness and off-centering when drilling the fixing holes. If they are badly centered, the screws may break when tightening them. It is recommended to drill first with a thinner drill bit and finish with a 10mm drill bit.
• Do not overtighten. The optimum torque is 9 N/m. If the holes are not well centered it can be exceeded and break the screws.
• Once the screws are tightened, place the anti-theft plugs.
• Place the bracket at a comfortable height but as high as possible to make it difficult for thieves to work.
